Founded on August 1, 1969, Howard E. DeOrnellas started Universal Time Equipment Company from his garage servicing the time recorder business with only one product line. Today, we have now expanded to more than twenty product lines with over thirty five employees.

Universal Time Equipment Company is a licensed fire alarm installer in the State of Texas. We are also licensed as Texas security services contractors. We are active members of the National Fire Protection Association and the Texas Fire Alarm Association. Members of our company have also served on various General Electric advisory boards, business development councils, and as officers of the Texas Fire Alarm Association.
